I had an entirely different mantel set up this Christmas season, and then I visited a holiday pop-up shop hosted by Lucky Junk over the weekend and fell in love with the most perfect piece of Christmas art. It was so very in tune with the rustic, woodland vibe I had going on this year that I just had to bring it home.
You know how that goes, right?
The print was for sale, but I loved the shop’s display on the old barn wood so much that I bought the whole thing – they were kind of made for each other. The print is simply secured to the wood with a brass push pin.
Here’s a closer look…
How gorgeous is that?!
And those words…
And into the forest I go, to lose my mind and find my soul
A swag of that same garland I used in the chandelier (find it here) was the perfect woodsy accent – I used Command hooks to hold it all in place.
And those old snow guards turned sconces fit right in too.
A couple of weathered lanterns flanking the fireplace doesn’t hurt either.
Simple and pretty, warm and cozy, and all with a vintage vibe – this is exactly what I needed this Christmas.
What do you think of this simple and cozy Christmas mantel?
