I get lots of requests for where someone might be able to find our coffee table.
Unfortunately, I can never offer a good answer.
You guessed it…
I picked it up at an antiques shop.
I found this cute little table about ten years ago. I paid $45 for it, and at the time it was a huge splurge. I can remember having major buyer’s remorse after leaving the store. Not because I didn’t love it, but because we didn’t really have the extra $45 in the budget to be spending on a coffee table back then.
But I fell in love with the worn and scuffed-up top, and the turned legs, and the simple farmhouse style – the scallops took a few years to grow on me, but now I wouldn’t change them for the world – and I simply just had to have it.
We probably ate ramen noodles for the rest of that month.
Sometimes a girl’s gotta do what a girl’s gotta do for the sake of a pretty room. 😉
But since our coffee table seems to be one of a kind (I promise if I ever cross paths with another one I will scoop it up for one of you) – I rounded up a list of coffee tables you CAN bring home today – all perfect for adding a bit of farmhouse or cottage style to your room.
Scallops. Turned legs. Simple design. – I love this table.
The base on this one reminds me of an old sewing machine – such a unique touch.
For those that like a painted look. I love the drawers and handy shelf on this one.
The rustic finish on this trunk makes it look like a well-loved antique – and bonus storage to boot!
Perfect for small spaces.
For a slightly modern touch.
A round table creates a cozy seating area and encourages conversation.
The slightly curved legs add subtle elegance to the weathered finish and simple design.
Classic cottage perfection.
This one comes unfinished. Add your own scallops and finish with your color of choice. Or leave it as is – it’s simply charming to begin with.
Simple design with a bit more of a masculine touch.
