I know I have some Fixer Upper fans out there. Anyone else as sad as I am that Season Three is over? 🙁
Thank goodness for re-runs, am I right?!
Once upon a time, I was chatting with a friend about Fixer Upper and they said something along the lines of “I like that show, but sometimes I don’t know what she’s thinking with some of the stuff that she does.”
To which I replied, “I’m going to have to ask you leave if you keep talking like that.”
Kidding!! I did not say that.
I just thought it.
No, no, no. I did nothing of the sort. Promise. 🙂
Truth be told, I don’t love everything Joanna Gaines does – but I do love the majority of it. Even after three seasons I still find her design fresh and inspiring – whether it’s perfectly in line with my taste or not. While I do still feel like Season One is my favorite, I thought Season Three was loaded with amazing makeovers.
Some of my favorites…
The Nut House
I love the character of this house and felt like Joanna’s design really brought it back to life. That fireplace is to die for!
The Brick House
The fireplace, those built-ins, those arches, and that front door – all so amazing!!
The Beanstalk Bungalow
This little house was beyond charming. From the beautiful floors, to the gorgeous fireplace, to the rustic wood beams in the bedroom, and all the way to that adorable little dining room – this one might have been my favorite favorite. 🙂
The 3 Little Pigs House
I love how this house blended masculine and feminine – and I’m completely jealous over that office.
The Carriage House
How charming was this little house? So many gorgeous details. I think I would live there and take care of the Magnolia House, wouldn’t you? Sounds like a pretty great deal to me!
So what did you think of Season Three? Was it their best yet, or did you like one of the earlier seasons better? Which makeover was your favorite?
