I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. Since I have some new “faces” around here, I thought I’d take a quick moment and introduce myself and tell you a little bit more about me:
My name is Tonya, I’m married to an all around handyman/builder/mechanic/super-cute guy named Jordan, and we share our home with our slightly goofy, but undeniably sweet, dog named Alice.
We purchased our 1930’s fixer upper about four years ago – we’ve accomplished a lot, but we still have a lot to go. We do everything ourselves, so projects sometimes take for.ev.er – but they do eventually get completed. I promise.
My favorite foods are ice cream, pizza, and any sort of pasta smothered in sauce and cheese. In an effort to control this, I married a guy who can’t eat dairy products – thus I consume these things on a limited basis and can still fit into my jeans (most of the time anyway). Just kidding – that’s not why I married him (I married him because he has big muscles), but it was a bonus.
I love shopping flea markets, antique stores, and the occasional curb to find unique and vintage treasures to bring character into our home.
I have a not-so-secret wish to find a money tree in the backyard so we can quit our jobs and move to an old farmhouse away from the city. Our backyard is pretty overgrown, so you never know – there could be a money tree out there…
I am DIY challenged and I can’t craft. It’s something I’d like to work on though.
I’m social media challenged as well (but I’m learning) – with the exception of Pinterest. I’m a pinning pro. In fact, I like to spend Mondays here showing you some of my favorite pins from the previous week. What better way to start a Monday than browsing beautiful spaces??
With that, let’s get started…
That dining room table is pretty fantastic, but I think I love the little stone fireplace the most. Which spaces stands out the most to you? I love hearing from you, share with me below!
